We asked Heather and Chris what their first impression of each other was when they first met, and while Heather said Chris talked too much, Chris said Heather didn't talk enough! However, the two spent the next six and a half years talking about travel, life, and love. Then, after designing and building a lovely pond and bench swing for their backyard, Chris proposed to Heather as they swang peacefully next to the pond! Talk about romantic!!
Heather sipped on some champagne while getting ready for her big day to begin while we admired all of the lovely details in her wedding accessories and dress!

Although Heather and Chris had planned an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends, the moment of the first look is always something extra special that we love to look back on when going through our client's wedding galleries - and this first look was the sweetest!
After their first look, it was time to head to the ceremony! And, of course, we had to capture some of their adorable and unique decorations on our way in! I loved these little Lego figurines that represented Chris and Heather and their two cats, Guinness and Kahlua!
The time for Chris and Heather's ceremony arrived, and we headed in to capture all the memories that they could ask for! Heather and Chris have described their relationship to be very chill and relaxed due to the similarities in their sense of humor, and that's exactly how I would describe their ceremony. Of course, any wedding day is going to have nerves running high, but Heather and Chris were surrounded by their closest family and friends (Chris's best friend was even their officiant!), who are just as relaxed and fun as the bride and groom!
After a ceremony filled with much laughter and love, Heather and Chris posed for some photos with their loved ones - and there were smiles all around!
Before we could skip on over to the reception, we wanted to capture some moments between the newlyweds after they finalized their vows, "I do's," and their shared last name! We even decided to grab some fun crosswalk shots while we were at it. One of Heather and Chris's requests was to capture their personalities as authentically as possible, so we snapped away as these two glowed with joy while relishing in each other's presence!
As we wrapped up Heather and Chris's Lux Bar Wedding, they shared their first dance as husband and wife, smiling ear to ear all the while. It was an absolute pleasure to get to know and work with two of the most down-to-earth people I've met and encapsulate their wedding day in photos that will tell their love story for years to come.
