We're seeing some more familiar faces again this week! If you were scrolling through our blogs around this time last year, you'd probably remember seeing Emily and Dean's romantic lakeside engagement session! Well, Emily and Dean are back again, only this time, we're featuring their marvelous wedding, where they officially became Mr. and Mrs. Kolar!
Emily and Dean met in their freshman year of high school in a class they shared, and after spending some time together, these two decided to make it official! These high school sweethearts share a love that, originally a small bud, has now grown and blossomed into a beautiful, soul-binding kind of love - you can feel and see it through the photos we captured throughout their big day!
In case you missed out on their proposal story last year, we wanted to share it with you here! Emily's always been fond of horses and rode them for many years. Knowing this, Dean planned a special private horse ride around the Bunker Hill Regional Park, where he asked Emily to marry him while they waited for their horses. Surprised and so excited, we can only imagine the ear-to-ear grin Emily wore on that trail ride! Just like the excitement she felt on the day he proposed, the excitement in the air was almost palpable throughout their beautiful wedding day! After Emily's makeup was finished, it was time for us to head to Makray Memorial Golf Club with her and her mom so we could get her in her breathtaking dress before revealing her dress to her dad and bridesmaids. Then, after some teary moments and the air being filled with gasps and admiration for the lovely bride in her dress, it was time to show her dress off to her groom!
After seeing his bride, Dean pulled Emily into a warm embrace which didn't last too long, because he had to take a second look at his beautiful bride in that dress! (I mean, who can blame him?) Then, the most nerve-wracking part of the day was upon us - it was time for the big ceremony! Needless to say, the ceremony was lovely! And, after taking some photos with the bridal party and family, it was time to get our grub and groove on!
We had an absolute blast dancing the night away with Emily and Dean, and all of their loved ones. It's one thing to marry the one you love, but a whole other prize is won when you get to marry your lifelong best friend. Thank you so much for choosing us to capture such a special union between the most lovely high school sweethearts ever! We hope to stay in touch for years to come - Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Kolar!
